Poem on Birds

In skies they soar, with feathers bright,
Birds of wonder, in graceful flight.
Their melodies, a sweet refrain,
Fill the air, like gentle rain.

With wings that span, both strong and free,
They dance upon the wind with glee.
In nests they build, a safe abode,
A place to rest and raise their brood.

From robin red to eagle grand,
Each bird displays a magic brand.
With colors vibrant, plumage divine,
They paint the world, a scene so fine.

Oh, birds of earth, you bring us cheer,
Through every season, far and near.
Your presence lifts our spirits high,
A reminder of nature’s endless sky.

  1. A well crafted poem as I would like to say, the use of metaphors impresses me. With your broad vocabulary and use of imagery, the poem provides us with a vast canvas where we could actually paint our own nature with the birds we imagine when we come across words like, ‘grateful flight’, ‘sweet melodies’, ‘colors vibrant’, ‘every season’, etc. An absolute engaging and approachable poetry.
