I thought of us in a vision
Well-dressed for an occasion,
Where people gathered with teary eyes
Surrounding me, I heard sighs.
A red carpet laid before my feet
And I saw you in a seat
Beside a decorated dull coffin
I saw my mother stooping down, kissing
I saw her eyes welling up, her face stiff and pale
Gloomy but warming similar to the one that lay,
Inside the dark mundane coffin.
A shiver struck down my spine
When I saw the familiar face of mine
Cold and life- less ,yet pleasantly bright
In an autumn Eve, under the sun set light
