    Nightmare

While I’m in a deep slumber,
I can feel my arms spread wide on the bed.
I can feel my forehead covered with beads of sweat.
Yet, I still can’t feel like being in the same world.

It seems like I’m no longer in the same place as I was before.
I want to wake up but I can’t.
There’s something heavy on my chest,
Which makes it almost difficult to breathe.

    My body is numb.
Yet I can understand something is still alive inside of me.
Maybe because my heart is throbbing with pain.
But I am unable to bring myself back to reality.

There’s something restraining me to open my eyes.
The fear I can feel is unfathomable.
It feels like I were already dead.
But I do know what I can see is not the real world.
It seems impossible to pull myself back from this nightmare.
