    The Night Court

    Under the night sky,
    Smeared with paint
    Just like the canvas,
    Hues, dark and faint
    Sun returning home,
    Leaving the warmth behind
    Can’t help but wonder,
    If the night is kind?
    The black rules,
    As the red fades
    Kingdom of shadows,
    Gray and the shades
    Stars fall to honour,
    The dark that rules
    Festival of spirits,
    Punishing the fools
    A place with magic,
    Of paint and stars
    Purple that twinkles,
    With mischief and wars
    Right by the mountains,
    This city resides
    Warriors and Valkyries,
    And spies by the sides
    With faes and myths,
    Here, I find my home
    Under the night sky,
    The place where I belong
