    Home sweet Home

    I come back,
    Tired and exhausted,
    A hectic day
    Felt like forever, it lasted
    The journey back,
    To my comfort place
    A place like none other,
One that provides me a safe space,
What they say is definitely the truth
I want to convey this to today’s youth
Amid different places I may roam
But there’s no place like home
    It is not some abode,
    With furnitures, and stuff
Home is where love calls us,
    A place that is enough
    I come home running,
From the blackness of the world,
    The barbarity of this place,
To my mother, I am curled
I pity those, who come back
    With no one to meet,
    No one to greet,
    For that is not home
    Home is sweet.
