Gracious Gaia, who sits with her allure –
Amongst the stars; so holy, so pure;
Glimmering with her lovely charm,
The Heaven’s mate, mother of all,
In whose lap the creatures crawl.
Ethereal Earth, with the moon in her crown,
So precious, why doth she frown?
Befouled by mortals who tread her,
The orb’s lands: how magnificent they were.
Her husband doth lament her sad state,
As his tears wash her: his dear wife with a dreary fate.
Nonetheless; she lives, poor she with her unheard call,
The Heaven’s mate, and the loving mother of all.
