  1. This is a beautifully composed poem that definitely makes one rejoice in the melody of the nightingale. The piece of composition actually reminds me of the poem “The Frog and the Nightingale” by Vikram Seth, however, one that is without the morose ending. The muse that you have chosen, the Nightingale is actually very fascinating, since the bird is often compared to an innocence that we lose as we grow older. The Nightingale is also very ornamental in the sense that we often adore it solely for the beauty of its song and not for its life. The poem also reminds me of how we humans are fascinated with the idea of preserving and saving this ornamental beauty. The scene that the poet has set up for us to view the nightingale in its entire beauty is also very refreshing and the use of an aa-bb rhyme scheme has definitely added more to the poem and its exuberance. Lastly, the poet writes and details about the nightingale almost in a reverent manner, truly reflecting their heart and emotions.
