शाम ढले सर्द हवा
कुछ सहमी सी
ख़ामोश फ़िज़ा।
शब-ए-तन्हाई
में दिल पर
कुहासा रहता है।।
क़ब्ल में कब हुई
गुफ़्तगू उससे
कुछ याद नही।
वो अब भी मुझसे
न जाने क्यूँ
खफ़ा सा रहता है।।
क़ायम कब तलक
रहेंगे सिलसिले
अदावत के।
यक़ीनन आएगा
वो लौट कर दिल
ये मेरा कहता है।।

अज़ब दुनिया गज़ब ज़माना है।
ज़ख्म खा कर भी मुस्कुराना है।।आँधी में टूट कर जो बिखरे हैं।
उन घरोंदों को फिर सजाना है।।क़ब्ल में दफ़्न कर दिया जिसको।
फिर उस उम्मीद को जगाना है।।रिश्ते जो जाने क्यूँ बिखर से गए।
बिगडे रिश्तों को फिर बनाना है।।अज़ब दुनिया गज़ब ज़माना है।
ज़ख्म खा कर भी मुस्कुराना है।।

क़ब्ल=पहले से -
वक़्त

दामन-ए-वक़्त में हर ग़म को छुपाना होगा।
वरना तमाम उम्र यूँ ही अश्क़ बहाना होगा।।जहान में कौन अज़ल तक रहा सलामत है।
आख़िर सभी को दुनियाँ छोड़ के जाना होगा।।ख्वाहिश-ए-सुबू किस का हुआ लबरेज़ यहाँ।
बाद मरने के तो ख़लाओं में ठिकाना होगा।।ख़ुद की परछायी पे आइनों को रश्क करने दो।
बिखरते ख़्वाबों को हक़ीकत तो बनाना होगा।।दामन-ए-वक़्त में हर ग़म को छुपाना होगा।
वरना तमाम उम्र यूँ ही अश्क़ बहाना होगा।।

पतित पावनी हरित धरा पर
जिस दिन से आँखें खोली हैं।
कानों में शहद घोलती सी ये
अपनी मातृभाषा की बोली है।।बचपन में वो अध्यापक जी
जब श्याम पटल पर लिखते थे।
कुछ लम्बे पतले गोल मोल
कितने अनजाने अक्षर दिखते थे।।निज माता-पिता, बंधु भ्राता
मिल राह सभी ने दिखलाई।
शैशव की बातों के दम पर
हमने जीवन की बाज़ी खेली है।।खो चुके हैं अब तक समय व्यर्थ,
दो जीवन को अब नया अर्थ।
निज भाषा का सम्मान करो
ये प्रगति पथ की हमजोली है।।पतित पावनी हरित धरा पर
जिस दिन से आँखें खोली हैं।
कानों में शहद घोलती सी ये
अपनी मातृभाषा की बोली है।।

vast blue sky…
