  1. Here the poet describes the situation of a girl who wasn’t saved from the cruel reality of the world which is poverty. The poet has used the rhyming scheme (abab) which gave it a flow and made it more beautiful to read. In the first stanza the poet describes the features of the little girl but in the next stanza the poet contrast it with the situation the girl is in. And when the little girl decided to beg to feed herself she was only faced by the other’s wrath, so she slept that way and next thing known was that she met with her end. And when the death embraced her , all the tiredness , weariness was slept away and when people looked at her she was seen as a pretty little girl who they taught was named beauty. So in the last stanza the poet describes that if the people were not bothered they thought she was pretty.

Really liked the poetry and would love to read more of like this.
