  1. This poem has a fluent and consistent rhyming scheme of AABBCCDD. The form of the poem is enhanced by the rhythmic quality of the verses. There are vivid imageries used throughout the poem, for instance, “sit among the spectators, pretending to be part of their vanity” and “path of treacherous insanity” evokes a sense of deception and distress in the hearts of the readers. I believe the central conflict of the poem revolves around the dilemma of decision-making for the narrator on whether to venture out into the unknown or to remain to abide by their obligations. And the whole theme does align cohesively with the title ‘Choice’. The perfect application of rhyming words like vanity-sanity, and disobey-dismay; highlights the conspicuous passion for a consistent tone in the poem.
