Hypocrisy

Every heart is full of love.
Isn’t it so?
“Show kindness, compassion and mercy.”
That’s what we are all told.
“Let go of your anger.”
“Forgiving makes you brave.”
“Put up on a smile,
Even if it is fake.”

But the anger, jealousy, helplessness
That we try to suppress,
Remains unleashed within us,
Which makes us two-faced.
People are all hypocrites.
We all live with a lot of hatred,
But we act like that’s not the case.
