  1. To begin with, I really appreciate the poet of this piece who allowed themself to channelise this emotional and beautiful poetry. To weave these words from a space that is purely made out of an emotional sphere is commendable. From the very start of the poem, one can easily feel themselves diving into a state of emotional distress with the mentions of “sleepless nights” and “Nightmares” These themes, which can be a point of resolution for many people, can allow them to feel one with the piece and at the end of the day, I feel that is the most essential part of any poetry, to be able to find a common space of mind with the poet, which this piece allows. As a reader, I felt a sense of connection with the abstract and the pangs of separation that she feels along with the passive rage that engulfs this poem so beautifully. Starting from a very unsure tone, the poem takes a more affirmative and assured stance, as one can see the speaker now considers themselves more independent and free. To be one’s own saviour and be free of any dependence is highly necessary for a person, which the speaker clearly embodies. In the all I wish to add is that this poem is a tale of one own salvation.
