  1. This poem is all about love, how she fell in love and come closer to her beloved one. This poem cherishes the love they had and how the author recognises her feelings and the way she had been in. I wish there could be someone who can love us the way this poem brings love into the air. It shows how love faces all the dimensions of love in care, war, and love. In today’s generation, we can rarely find these seems like love has disappeared

  2. It seems like the poetess is quite experienced in poetry; all the while maintaining a simple AABB rhyme scheme, she has managed to write an easily comprehensible story in the form of a poem while using descriptive words. This further enhances the experience of the readers, almost tempting them to live through both the characters in the poem vicariously.
Coming to the tone of the poem, it is rather sweet and sensual, which perfectly fits the topic of the poem. It was from the perspective of the girl for the most part, which makes room for suggestions to make it from both their perspectives equally.
My favorite line from the poem has to be: “To come together again, not to part.” I personally thought the poem could’ve ended with this and the 8th stanza seemed excessive.
All in all, it was a good read and I rate it: 4/5
