Any day in my life
Is no Eat-Pray-Love parody.
Seems like more than me
The weather is moody.

Although with a 9-5 college
And things planned out for every hour, every stage
My days are distinctly monotonous
Sometimes well, at times on edge.

There’s more than live-laugh-love
An adventure which doesn’t fit
But I take it in good humour
For an average day doesn’t exist.

Up above the clouds
Amidst the sound of sirens
And the noise of the crowd
Argued life and death.

The bike has crashed
The car has a dent
Everyone came running
Ran life and death.

Red river is flowing
Concerns are growing
Ambulance approaching
Approach life and death.

They can’t come to a conclusion
To the victim’s trauma
Their misunderstanding
An indecision
“Oh, the patient’s in coma.”
