She envisioned her despondency

Whenever she saw her

Parents sacrificing their private

Holiday trip for the coinage,

Compensating the extra expenses and

College fees for her; every time

Her father would say,” I’ll take

Your mother directly on the Europe

Tour next year, what’s in India to see?”

And each time she’d know it’s not

About the places but money;

Instead of gifting the envelope to her

Husband for their honeymoon, she

Decided to send it to her parents’ address

Fulfilling their surreal dream to go

On the Europe Tour someday, feeling

Warm, content and happy.
