चाहता दिल सदा से मुझे,
इन पर्वतों की श्रृंखलाओं में,
इन नदियों की चंचलता में,
इन झडनो की घुंघरू में,
इन देवदारो की घनेरी छाव मे,
इन वादियों मैं कहीं खो जाऊं,
आती है मिट्टी की खुशबू,
जो मिट्टी है अपने वतन की,
इन्हें छोड़ न जाऊं कहीं,
मिलेगा न कहीं और चैन मुझे,
जो खुशबू है अपने वतन की,
यहां लोग हैं सारे अपने,
वो हैं हमारे भाई बंधु,
क्यों करें हम सेवा दूसरे वतन की,
क्यों न करें हम सेवा अपने वतन की |
