THREE BROKEN WISHES

June 22, 2023 in English Poetry

Set on my journey
To search for deep sorrows,
Crossing the paths of fallen petals,
And strong winds so gentle.

she dreamed of walking down the aisle,
Sitting by the Cascade all this while,
To be with him, counting the wishes,
Throwing the pebbles,
The falls attempt to enliven,
There she sat, with water driving the pebbles,
And her in the peaceful battle.

An island so far,
Scribbles on its shore,
Near the barefooted master,
Being one among the wind,
Her eyes weighing down,
Wishing to look at someone,
No one could ever reach,
Except for the sight of the eye,
So was me, Neither could I.

I met a silent face,
Whose eyes never left the edge,
Sun kissing the sea,
Her lips trembled,
“I wish it were meant for me.”
Her hands went to the heart,
” oh look, he went afar,
Leaving behind this baggage,
The sun will set into the Ocean’s embrace,
you should leave too, Bon Voyage.”

Paper Planes

June 15, 2023 in English Poetry

The fragile paper plane
That glides out my window
Aiming at yours
To the other peak of the valley.

Bulked with the words
Maybe couldn’t bear the load
Went rafting through the wind
But it came down soon crashing.

So I jot down less and less
Saving some for later
Destiny got it stuck in oak
The words that now soak.

Yet I folded another one
Gliding through, my eyes turning rosy
You closed shut your window
I lost my paper plane
And gained another sorrow.

The words meant for you
That you won’t ever hear
I re-read them
And end up writing more.

The words could never reach
The start was the very end
As you would never read
How your presence held me bewitched.

I surrendered in defeat as
No more like before, the slight winds,
That once made my hopes ignite,
My fragile paper planes ,
Could never take another flight.

Divine

June 15, 2023 in English Poetry

Your sea so beautiful,
Until the night falls ,
My golden smile so youthful,
When your wave calls,
So I grant you my shine ,
And your night sea swallows ,
Our blend seems so divine,
As we emit gleam from sorrows.
