The window tells me my limit,
The curtains hold back my flight.
But the explorer in me is an addict,
And once again I try to fight.
When the world narrows its views,
And the clouds hide every star,
Surrendering is what I refuse,
Lamentation is still afar.
Past the haven of my land,
Lies but an unsure fate.
But never will I leave my stand,
The future will I dictate.
It matters not what will be the chance,
How difficult might be my chase.
The windows will no longer define my stance,
No matter how tiring will be the race.
I will be my wings,
I will decide my flight.
I will be my springs,
I will be my light.
