A unique and precious soul
You have a beauty and a purpose
That no one else can hold
You are worthy of acceptance
And deserving of respect
You have a voice and a vision
That no one else can reject
You are a journey of discovery
A challenge and a gift
You have a power and potential
That no one else can lift
You are growing to love yourself
With compassion and with grace
You are embracing your own essence
With courage and with faith.

Sometimes…

Sometimes I feel like I’m trapped in a cage
With no time to breathe or to turn the page
But sometimes I feel like it’s better this way
To avoid the thoughts that haunt me every day
Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning in noise
With no space to think or to make a choice
But sometimes I feel like it’s safer to hide
To drown out the voices that hurt me inside
Sometimes I feel like I’m longing for more
With no one to love or to care or adore
But sometimes I feel like it’s easier to cope
To lower my expectations and give up hope
Sometimes I feel like I’m overwhelmed and alone
A paradox of feelings that I can’t own
But maybe I need to hear a word of grace
To remind me that I have a place in this space…

Mohabbat ho gai he par khud ko rok rakha he
Lakeero me dawa aur hateli par rog rakha he
Ishq me khudko tootne se baccha nhi paate
To jo cheej bas me nhi unhe chod rakha he
Tere sir ko yaad karta he halka padte hee
Mene jaan karke kandhe par bojh rakha he
Yu toh gale lagane ka jee he magar
Tu lauta toh muh ferr lungi soch rakha he
Me badal sakti hu uski chahat aur najariya
Par usse sirf dosti hi chahiye usne bol rakha he
