Losing you…
Losing you was like losing my half part, You were always there whether tears or laugh. Losing you was like losing a person who stood through my thick and thins.
Losing you is like trying to find a Baindaid for a wound that just keeps opening… Losing you is like having to forget everything we planned of doing Having those street walks and those ice cream dates.

But holding on you was way more tough.
So…… now…..no more late night talks. No more cricket discussions, No more endless jokes, And no more us holding hands while looking in each other’s eyes.
But here I’m hoping to tell you…. That “possibility of you is better than the reality of anyone.”
Very well written. This poem showcases the grief of a person who has lost his/her loved ones.The words and the rhymes have been beautifully synced in order to show what is really feels like to miss someone.

The poem is written from a perspective of a person who has lost a loved one, in a romantic sense probably. The language is calm. The poem’s poetic devices include simile as its proficient one.
Even though a poem doesn’t necessarily has to rhyme everytime, there has to be a proper flow of the lines which seems to lack in this one. There has been a perfect reference to the book “Twisted Love” by Ana Huang and makes it a better ending to the poem.

The poet showed their emotions and feelings through this beautiful poem. The poetry is not too challenging, it is straight forward. The poet expresses their emotions that how she missed her loved one. They spent much of times together, but now all are gone away like a dissolved cloud. Through this, it’s clearly understood the she is not completed without her loved one. She feels too lonely and also feels like losing herself.
