This literally will remind everyone of someone their beloved ones. It’s a very short poem with beautiful lines connecting souls and memories. The poet definitely remembers someone that he misses a lot. This poem is beautifully depicting the memories of night and person she’s been missing. These lines are so short yet holds deep meaning from the hearts of poet and the one she’s remembering.
This poem is based on the loss of a loved one and its affect on the author.It imagines a dark rainy night wherein the author reminisces about the good old days wherein the author was enriched with the love and warmth that they’re now forced to seek in the forces of nature such as the wind, the rain, the musical background and the shawl wrapped around them. It leaves it open to the reader to interpret whether the loved one has left for their heavenly abode or simply abandoned the company of the author. It is also upon the reader to decide what kind of relationship the author shared with the above mentioned, whether it was of a romantic love or a relation bonded by blood. In these beautiful lines the author replaces the feeling of the lost love with that of the lonely night both of which seem to have the same dooming effect on her, leaving her abandoned and missing the feelings that she lost.
