HEAVENLY BLISS

And off she went

Off to her wildest dreams

Deep in the woods

A place where the sun best gleams

Lying alone on the grass by a spring

Sunblessed sunkissed calm on her face

And the best of purity

And the finest of grace

Away from all trouble

Into the deepest core of warm

The best smile one could wear

Away from the malicious human swarm

All by herself

Nothing else needed

Chasing an imagination

Failures defeated

Her dream before her eyes

A feeling of peace

A moment of content

And the Sun smiling at her through the trees

Everything she could ever want

The love she chased forever

The purest of closeness

A bond none can sever

And she lied down

As she owned herself

That old fairy tale

Giant wonderland and her, a little elf

The happiest notes and the angel with a harp

In the best possible venture

Journey ends where it once began

In the arms of loving nature

  1. The poem is such a beautiful one and full of visual imagery. Some of the best lines would include “Lying alone on the grass by a spring.. Sunblessed sunkissed calm on her face.. And the best of purity.. And the finest of grace.. Away from all trouble.. Into the deepest core of warm.. The best smile one could wear.. Away from the malicious human swarm.” It gives a sense of peace on the whole and justifying the title “heavenly bliss.” However, the poetry could have better punctuation and a righteous sense of continuity.
