   In this poem the title give an attention about woman and their suffering and the poem describes the pain of woman during periods simple and clearly.It also mentioned the daily routine (job and household work)of woman even during those days with pain.
   But this poem shows that periods is weakness of woman but it nailed out mental strength of the woman is better than a man.

This contrast represents how anguish and discomfort have intruded into the narrator’s life’s innocence and peace. The contrast and intensity of this normal biological activity are well communicated through the use of colour imagery.

   The poem then takes a more graphic turn, depicting a sneeze that causes blood to break off and flow all around. This striking illustration highlights how menstruation is uncontrolled and how it may interfere with even the most basic activities. The words that go along with it about sobbing and throwing up emphasise the emotional and physical toll that this monthly experience may have.

   One of the poem’s most powerful passages is when the narrator remembers hearing a yell from the kitchen that reminded her of the social demands put on women. The phrase “Girls don’t wake up late!!” serves as a stinging reminder of the gender-based discrimination that still prevails in our culture.
