The poem conveys a very beautiful message about grandparents but there are certain mistakes in it. Like in the third line of first stanza, ‘their’ should be used instead of ‘there’. Other than that I feel this poem is a little ambiguous and not very exact. It feels like many feelings are suppressed and not expressed to a fuller extent. It can be modified without changing it’s base which will make it more powerful and beautiful.

Overall, the poem evokes a sense of appreciation and gratitude for the significant impact that grandparents have on our lives but the poem has limited explaination on the perspective of the main subject. There could have been more lines about the full range of experiences and relationships that exist between grandchildren and grandparents.
